LSI Quarterly Conference, Mission Inn, Riverside, CA, November 14-16, 2008.  At the conference there will be workshops offered by all of the Legal Specialization Sections.  With the new conference schedule, members as well as Governors will be able to take advantage of all of the workshops.  Please see your LSI Magazine or the LSI website www.lsi.org for details.

San Mateo County Legal Secretaries Association is a member of the Bay Area Legal Secretaries Forum, ("the Forum")and participates in continuing educational programs sponsored by the Forum.  The Forum has quarterly single subject seminars in July, October and January, and an Annual Seminar consisting of approximately 10 workshops on various subjects, but always Family Law, Probate, Civil and Beginning Legal Secretary.  Check www.balsf.org , where you can download the brochure, and also register on-line.

Attorneys and Paralegals may acquire those needed MCLE credits by attending San Mateo County Legal Secretaries Association ("SMCLSA") monthly dinner meetings where MCLE credit is specified.  SMCLSA is a qualified provider under the umbrella of Legal Secretaries, Inc.( "LSI").  Not every meeting will be MCLE qualified, so please check the meeting notice on the Newsletter page for each program.  Members price is $28 and non-member price is $40, includes dinner and program.
